Kanawha Valley Radiologists is seeking a general or multispecialty Radiologist to join our group in Charleston, WV, for a full-time, traditional partnership-track position due to practice growth. We are a highly successful, 6-person physician-owned private practice, providing exclusive radiology services to the 403-bed Thomas Health System, comprised of two hospitals, an MRI center, and an outpatient imaging center.  We also provide teleradiology coverage to several smaller hospitals, independent imaging centers, and physician offices throughout the region.

Partner income is consistently very high, and we provide substantial vacation time to fully reap the benefits.  We also offer an attractive work schedule. A normal day shift ends around 4pm, and our evening shift ends at 10pm - no overnight work required. We share weekend call equally, working on average fewer than 9 weekends per year.  Some of our rotations provide an option to work from home.  Time to partnership and pre-partner salary are highly competitive, and negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

The successful applicant will be comfortable reading all modalities, including mammography, as well as performing minor percutaneous interventions such as drainages and biopsies. On-the-job training in minor procedures, mammography, or other modalities can be provided to those applicants needing a refresher. We are a very busy practice, and candidates must be able to handle high volumes while still delivering quality care to our patients and superior service to our clinicians. Fellowship training is preferred, but not required.  All areas of subspeciality expertise will be considered.
